Your organization may serve a specific community. You can set those boundaries in your “Preferences”. To do so, first, go to heypeers.com and log into your account. Click on the ACCOUNT dropdown menu located in the top right corner of your screen. Select “My Organizations” from the dropdown menu options. You will be brought to a new page. Click on the MY ORGANIZATIONS button located at the top middle of the page. You will see your organization with your logo in a tile with a PROFILE button on the left corner of the tile and a MANAGE button on the right corner of the tile. Click on the MANAGE button.
You will be brought to a new page called “Manage Organization” on the right side of the screen click on the BOOK icon. A dropdown menu will appear. Select “Preferences” from the dropdown menu.
You will be brought to a new page, fill out the following information to set your preferences:
- Allowed States - Select a specific state from the dropdown menu if you only serve specific state populations. You can select as many as you like. If you do not designate a state your meetings will be available to any HeyPeer user.
- Allowed genders - Select specific genders from the dropdown menu if you only serve specific genders. If you do not designate genders then your meetings will be able to all gender identities of HeyPeers users.
- Time Zone - Select the time zone your organization is located in from the dropdown menu.
- Meeting hosted by peer supporters can be visible on the public meeting list - Toggle ON (green if turned on) to display your meetings on the public MEETINGS page in addition to your organization’s public page. Toggle OFF (gray if turned off) to ONLY display your meetings on your organization’s public page.
- Hide my organization - Toggle ON (green if turned on) if you DO NOT want your organization to be visible on the ORGANIZATION page in HeyPeers. Toggle OFF (gray if turned off) if you DO want your organization to be visible on the ORGANIZATION page in HeyPeers.
- Hide my group leaders - Toggle ON (green if turned on) if you DO NOT want your organization’s group leaders to be visible on your organization’s public page. Toggle OFF (gray if turned off) if you DO want your organization’s group leaders to be visible on your organization’s public page.
- Hide group leader ratings - Toggle ON (green if turned on) if you DO NOT want your organization’s group leaders’ ratings to be visible on your organization’s public page. Toggle OFF (gray if turned off) if you DO want your organization’s group leaders’ ratings to be visible on your organization’s public page.
Click the SAVE button when you have finished designing your preferences.
