If you haven’t already opened the web browser you plan to use for the meeting, do so and log into your HeyPeers account. Click on the ACCOUNT dropdown menu in the top right corner. Select “My Meetings” from the dropdown menu. You will be brought to a new page.
On the My Meetings page, you will see all your upcoming scheduled meetings and all of the past meetings you registered for. In the “Upcoming meetings” section find the meeting you are going to attend and click on the green JOIN button.
You will be brought to a new screen where you will confirm your name that will display in the meeting. Click the CONTINUE TO THE MEETING button.
You will be brought to a new page. You should also see yourself through your webcam. If you do not see yourself click on the camera icon. You also have the option of turning on your audio as well before you enter the meeting space. Click on the microphone icon to do so. If you would like the change the name displaying, click on the [...] icon.
If you need to select a specific web camera click on the ^ to the right of the camera icon. A dropdown menu will appear with options.
If you are not seeing the camera you are looking for, click on Video Settings... in the dropdown menu. A popup window will appear, where you can select the correct camera.
If you need to select a specific microphone and speaker click on the ^ to the right of the microphone icon. A dropdown menu will appear with options.
If you are not seeing the camera you are looking for, click on Video Settings... in the dropdown menu. A popup window will appear, where you can select the correct camera.
Once your name, video, and audio are set click the JOIN MEETING button.
You will be brought into your HeyPeers Meeting space, there you will see the HeyPeers Peer Supporter who will be facilitating the meeting.
