Our Peer Supporter Request page is a way for you to easily connect with a Peer Supporter. These Certified Peer Specialists will review your request and tell you how they would help you and what they would charge. You can then choose one you want to work with.Simply tell us what you need and any preferences you have. You will then receive up to three proposals from Peer Supporters who have experience in that area. Here’s how to do it:
1. Submit a Peer Support Request form.
Select My Peer Support Requests from the more menu.
This will bring you to the Peer Support Request summary page. Click on the Request Peer Support button to initiate a request.
Once the Peer Support Request form is displayed, please fill out the requested details.
When all details are complete, click Submit. Prior to being viewed by potential Peer Supporters, the request can be edited. It can also be closed at any time, canceling the request. The submitted request is displayed on the Peer Support Requests page.
2. Accept a proposal
Once you receive a proposal, it will appear on your member dashboard (click on the HeyPeers logo in the upper left corner of any page to go to it).
Open the request and select View Proposal to open up the details of the Peer Supporter’s proposal. Click on Accept Proposal to accept the Peer Supporter’s offer.
Once the proposal has been accepted, you will be able to message with your Peer Supporter and arrange your meeting. Your Peer Supporter will create your meeting
3. Pay and register for a meeting
The Peer Support Proposal details page shows a Register button; select this to pay and register for the meeting.
