There may be a learning curve for HeyPeers users who are new to the platform but also are unfamiliar with online support groups. As you prepare for your upcoming schedule support group meetings, you are now able to view how many times a HeyPeer user has attended previous meetings. This can help you prepare for potential technical needs from your meeting attendees.
To view this information first, go to heypeers.com and log into your account. Click on the ACCOUNT dropdown menu located in the top right corner of your screen. Select “My Meetings” from the dropdown menu options. You will be brought to a new page.
On the My Meetings page, you will see all your upcoming scheduled meetings and all of the past meetings you hosted. In the “Upcoming meetings” section find the meeting you are going to facilitate and click on the "Participants" hyperlink located on the left side of the meeting tile.
You will be brought to a new page and see a list of registered attendees. One column you can observe is labeled "Previous Meetings Attended" if the number 0 appears that means they haven't attended a HeyPeers video-based support group meeting before. They may need some extra assistance.
If you click on the "..." icon, you will have two options appear in a dropdown menu
- Message- you may want to message the attendees to welcome and encourage them before they attend.
- Unregister- this is helpful if you feel the person is not the right fit for your online support group meeting.
