We strongly encourage you to explore our chatrooms as they are a large part of the support we offer at HeyPeers. Once you have logged in to your HeyPeers account. You will be brought to the Member Dashboard, which gives you a quick overview of your upcoming meetings and organizations you are subscribed. Assuming you have not yet joined a chat room, you will see the button Join New Chatrooms. This will bring you directly to the Chat page.
Alternatively, you can also select Chat from the top menu bar.
You will ultimately will be brought to the Chat page. All public chatroom's that are currently open for you to join, will displayed in alphabetical order.
Feel free to browse through the list for the chatroom that interests you the most. Please select any chatroom that you could possibly find community and support. Alternatively, you can use the search function (located at the top of the chatroom list) to find a chatroom by name or description. The search is helpful if you are looking for certain topics or characteristics of a group, such as "depression" or "women over 50."
Each chatroom on this page includes a short description of the chatroom's key details, this should help you to identify if it may be of interest to you.

Once you have found a chatroom your would like to join or learn more about, click on View Details to continue. You will then be able to view the details of the chatroom like in the image below.
Now that you have found a chatroom you would like to join, you will be asked acknowledge that you have reviewed and will follow our chatroom guidelines before you can join. Reviewing our chatroom guidelines is mandatory because they are a set of rules and expectations established to ensure respectful, productive, and enjoyable interactions among participants. The inability to follow these guidelines can result in the suspension or removal from HeyPeers.
Once the guidelines have been reviewed please click on the checkbox beside I have read and agree to follow the Chat Room Guidelines.
You may then click on the Join Chat Room button to join the chatroom.
