How to Access the Member Dashboard
When you log into your HeyPeers account, you are brought to the HeyPeers default home page called the Member Dashboard. You can navigate back to the Member Dashboard at any time by clicking on the HeyPeers logo in the top left corner of the menu bar.
The Member Dashboard gives a quick overview of what is happening on HeyPeers related to your upcoming registered meetings, organizations you are subscribed to, and updates on the chatroom activity for any chatrooms you have joined.
The information on the dashboard is customized for you - only data relating to your activities will be displayed.
Member Dashboard Layout
The Member Dashboard is divided into five sections.
1) Your Next Meetings
If you have registered for meetings, the Member Dashboard will display a maximum of two of your upcoming meetings.
15 minutes before the start of a meeting, a JOIN button will appear for easy access to the meeting.
A DETAILS button is also displayed to give you access to more information about the meeting.
Below the meetings is a link to View all your upcoming meetings, which is a direct link to the My Meetings page.
The Find New Meetings link (found at the top right of the section) directs you to the general Meetings page to find additional meetings of interest.
If you are not currently registered for any meetings, the section will show that there are no upcoming meetings. The Find New Meetings button directs you to the general Meetings page.
2) Your Chats
The Your Chats section displays the most recently active chatrooms that you have joined. Chatrooms are displayed left-to-right in unread message count order, with the chatroom having the most unread messages displayed first (on the left).
The Your Chats section on the dashboard will only preview up to four chatrooms. If you have joined more than four chatrooms, the View All Chatrooms link (found at the top right of the section) will take you to the Chat page to see all chatrooms.
Each chat information box displays the number of new, unread messages so you can easily see recent chat activity. The chat information box also serves as a button. When you click the chat box, you will be immediately brought to the conversation page of that chatroom.
If you have not yet joined any chatrooms, the section will show that there are no chatrooms. A Join New Chatrooms button will take you to the Chat page to find existing chatrooms to join.
3) Your Organizations
The Your Organizations section displays up to four of the organizations you have subscribed to.
If you are subscribed to more than four organizations, the View All Organizations link (found at the top right of the section) will take you to the Organizations page. Once on the Organizations page, if you click on the Subscribed tab, you will see the list of organizations for which you subscribed. If you click on the All tab, you will see all organizations facilitating meetings on HeyPeers.
The organizations will be displayed left-to-right in the number of upcoming meetings, with the organization on the left having the most upcoming meetings on the calendar.
Members who were referred to HeyPeers by special invitation, or were registered directly by an organization, will always see that primary organization listed first (on the left) in the horizontal list of organizations, regardless of the number of upcoming meetings. Then the remaining organizations displayed will be displayed to the right in order of the number of upcoming meetings.
If you do not have a primary organization, and you have not yet subscribed to any organizations, the section will show a message that says You have not subscribed to any organization.
The Check Out Organizations button will take you to the Organizations page to browse the list of organizations on HeyPeers.
To learn more about subscribing to an organization, see this article: What Are Organization Led Support Group Meetings?
4) Primary Organization’s Meetings
Members who registered and created an account directly on the HeyPeers website, will not have a primary organization, and they will not see this section.
Members who were referred to HeyPeers by special invitation, or were registered directly by an organization, will see the primary organization section. This section will display up to four of the upcoming meetings of that organization. This allows the members to see a quick glance of the organization’s calendar.
Each meeting displayed will have a DETAILS button, which allows the member to read more about the meeting, and provides a quick Register button.
A link to Find More Organization Meetings (found at the top right of the primary organization section) is a direct link to the organization’s meeting calendar and information page.
5) Notifications
In the top right corner of the Member Dashboard, you will see a Notifications button. The Notifications button opens a drop-down list of current announcements, updates, news reports, and more. The announcements are listed in date order, with the newest announcements on the top.
When new announcements have been posted, the member will see a red tag containing the number of messages that have not yet been seen.
When the button is clicked on, the list of current messages will display. Each message will be a link to a separate page, or link to one of our HeyPeers Knowledge Base articles.
